Joint Efforts, implemented between 2011 and 2013, contributed to strengthening cooperation among counter-trafficking specialists from law enforcement, judiciary, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and extending such cooperation to health authorities, officials, healthcare providers and borderguards. The project, funded by the European Union under the ISEC program, was implemented by a consortium of governmental and non-governmental agencies, organizations and universities from Belgium, Hungary, Sweden, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Austria, Moldova, the United Kingdom, and Norway.
